This primary school in Mol still has a large open space that is used as a playground for the children. The classrooms are housed in one single-storey pavilion to be retained and in an auxiliary pavilion with a light structure. In addition, there are another two series of classroom containers. The building to be retained is a solid structure with prefabricated frame elements dating from 1975 and with a footprint of 441 m². Shortage of space makes a new building necessary of double the size (869 m²). The building to be retained has 4 classrooms suitable for use as an infants’ block. The new building will then include the 6 classes of the lower school. There is also a requirement for a canteen and space for sport and playing, which are currently totally lacking in the school. Despite the obsolete buildings, the school has seen strong growth from 40 to 140 pupils. The fast erection of an efficient new building is required to provide these children with quality space for their development.
