KTA2 and KTA3 in Hasselt are both housed on a large campus together with KA and KTA1. It is a large area cut in half by Vildersstraat, bounded by several other streets and already contains a lot of buildings from several periods. KTA2 and KYA3 are each on a different side of Vildersstraat. They both need a new building on this campus. So this is a single assignment that can be divided into two, each part on one side of the street and each with a specific programme. KTA2 currently has a lack of space for classrooms. So 2500 sq. m. is being provided on the campus for a new KTA2 building. For KTA3 a new bakery of 870 sq. m. has to be built because the present one is housed in pavilions that are in poor condition.
