The site on Mesenslaan is large, entirely surrounded by 4 streets, and contains several institutions: KA, BS, Academie beeldende Kunst (Art Academy) and the Muziekacademie. As such, the site is already quite full. The kindergarten is currently located in a number of dilapidated temporary classrooms, and the crèche has been temporarily relocated. A new structure must be built to replace the kindergarten classrooms, in which the crèche will also be housed. The total surface area is 903 sq. m.
